Crypto-related ETFs traded lower yesterday overall as digital asset weakness continued across major tokens and leveraged products. XRP-related ETFs remained under pressure, reflecting continued weakness in the underlying token. The Canary XRP ETF declined 0.6% on the day, 1.9% over the week, and 7.8% over the month, while leveraged XRP products posted steeper losses. The Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (XXRP) fell 1.4% daily, 4.3% weekly, and 17.4% monthly, while the Volatility Shares XRP 2X ETF (XRPT) lost 4.1% over the week and 17.2% over the month. Solana ETFs also traded lower, with the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) declining 0.9% daily and 2.7% monthly. Leveraged Solana products underperformed, as the 2x Solana ETF (SOLT) fell 2.2% on the day, 2.1% weekly, and 8.4% monthly, while the ProShares Ultra Solana ETF (SLON) dropped 2.6% daily and 9.1% over the month.

Overall, the data reflects continued risk-off positioning across crypto ETF markets, with leveraged 2x products materially underperforming spot-oriented funds as volatility and downside momentum persist across Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP exposure.

Cryptocurrency markets weakened modestly by the morning of May 27, with total market capitalization declining 0.6% to $2.62T after falling 1.4% during the prior evening session. Bitcoin traded at $75,773, down 1.1% over 24 hours and 2.1% over the past week, while Ethereum declined 0.6% to $2,080 and remained down 2.2% on a 7-day basis. Among major Layer-1 networks, Solana fell 0.8% to $83.68, Cardano lost 1.0% to $0.24, and Avalanche dropped 1.4% to $9.14, reflecting continued pressure across large-cap digital assets.

Despite the broader weakness, several altcoins posted strong gains. Sei (SEI) led major movers higher, surging 14.9% in 24 hours and 19.4% over the week to $0.07, while Internet Computer (ICP) advanced 9.8% daily and 16.7% weekly to $2.93. Hyperliquid (HYPE) continued outperforming the market, gaining 6.1% over 24 hours and 29.2% over seven days to trade at $63.06 with a fully diluted valuation of $60.65B. Filecoin (FIL) also showed strength in DeFi, rising 5.6% on the day and 9.8% for the week.

On the downside, NEAR Protocol was the weakest major token, falling 8.1% to $2.48 despite remaining up 50.7% over the last seven days. Ondo (ONDO) declined 6.8% to $0.40, while Zcash (ZEC) lost 6.5% to $565.23 after already falling 10.9% in the previous session. OKB reversed sharply lower, dropping 4.9% after rallying 9.2% the prior day, highlighting elevated volatility in exchange-related tokens. In the metaverse sector, most assets remained under pressure, although ICP outperformed significantly, while Chiliz (CHZ) remained down 23.5% on a weekly basis.

Overall, market activity suggests investors are rotating away from broad crypto exposure and toward selective momentum trades in AI, infrastructure, and trading-platform-related tokens. While the broader market remains rangebound and defensive, strong gains in HYPE, ICP, and SEI indicate that speculative capital continues concentrating in high-beta sectors despite weakness in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
