ETFs – Bitcoin futures are down 0.6%, after yesterday’s rally. Crypto exchange-traded funds traded higher alongside the broader cryptocurrency rally. Spot Bitcoin ETFs rose roughly 7% on the day, tracking Bitcoin’s advance to $73,457 (+2.9%). The iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) increased to $41.44 (+7.08% 1-day, +8.31% 1-week), while the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) rose to $63.68 (+7.12% 1-day, +8.41% 1-week) and the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) climbed to $56.99 (+7.16% 1-day, +8.39% 1-week). The Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) also gained 7.18% to $39.72. Despite the recent rebound, most Bitcoin ETFs remain down approximately 21% over three months and about 33% over six months.

Ethereum ETFs posted stronger gains as Ethereum outperformed the broader market. The iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) rose 8.84% to $16.25, the Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) gained 8.82% to $21.46, and the VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV) increased 8.85% to $31.49, while the Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) advanced 8.83% to $15.41. Leveraged Ethereum products saw larger moves, with the ProShares Ultra Ether ETF (ETHT) and T-REX 2x Long Ether ETF (ETU) both rising about 17% on the day, reflecting amplified exposure to Ethereum’s price increase.

XRP-focused ETFs also advanced broadly, generally gaining around 7–8% in daily trading, while leveraged products rose more sharply. The Canary XRP ETF (XRPC) increased to $15.54 (+7.99% 1-day, +4.86% 1-week), the Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ) rose to $15.85 (+7.82% 1-day), and the Grayscale XRP Trust ETF (GXRP) climbed to $28.30 (+7.79%). Leveraged products such as the Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (XXRP) and Volatility Shares XRP 2X ETF (XRPT) surged 15.9% and 15.7%, respectively, reflecting the magnified exposure to XRP’s move.

Solana ETFs were among the strongest performers, benefiting from Solana’s underlying price increase. The Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) rose to $12.41 (+9.63% 1-day, +8.20% 1-week), while the VanEck Solana ETF (VSOL)climbed 9.76% to $12.22 and the Franklin Solana ETF (SOEZ) increased 9.80% to $16.02. Leveraged funds posted significantly larger gains, with the 2x Solana ETF (SOLT) rising 19.59% to $59.52 and the ProShares Ultra Solana ETF (SLON) advancing 19.02% to $6.57. Overall, crypto ETFs broadly participated in the market rally, with Bitcoin ETFs gaining about 7%, Ethereum ETFs rising roughly 8–9%, XRP ETFs up around 8%, and Solana ETFs increasing about 9–10%, while leveraged products posted double-digit percentage gains.

Crypto Currencies – The cryptocurrency market extended its gains into the morning of March 5, 2026, with total market capitalization rising 2.5% to $2.55 trillion after increasing 5.4% in the prior evening session. Among major cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin (BTC) climbed to $73,457 (+2.9% in 24 hours, +7.6% over 7 days), while Ethereum (ETH) outperformed with a move to $2,158 (+4.1% 24H, +4.6% 7D) after gaining 7.3% in the prior PM update. Other large-cap Layer-1 tokens also advanced, including XRP at $1.45 (+3.0% 24H), BNB at $664.02 (+1.9%), and Solana (SOL) at $92.66 (+2.6%). Over the same period, Hyperliquid (HYPE) slipped slightly to $32.03 (-1.1% 24H) despite remaining +10.9% higher over the week, and Cardano (ADA) rose 2.5% to $0.28.

Among the top gainers, Pi (PI) increased to $0.20 (+13.2% 24H, +16.7% 7D), Monero (XMR) rose to $372.10 (+7.0%), MemeCore (M) advanced to $1.47 (+6.1%), and Sky (SKY) climbed 5.8% to $0.08. Zcash (ZEC) also continued higher, reaching $239.39 (+5.4% 24H) following an 11.6% gain in the prior session. Declines were relatively modest, led by NEAR Protocol (NEAR) at $1.30 (-4.0% 24H) after strong weekly gains, while UNUS SED LEO (LEO) fell to $8.99 (-2.3%), World Liberty Financial (WLFI) slipped 1.3% to $0.10, and Canton (CC) declined 1.1% to $0.16.

Across sectors, DeFi tokens showed elevated volatility, with Huobi Token (HT) surging 78.7% to $0.19 and Perpetual Protocol (PERP) rising 32.5% to $0.04, while 0x Protocol (ZRX) increased 4.6% to $0.11. In the metaverse segment, gains were more moderate, with Chiliz (CHZ) up 4.7% to $0.04, GMT rising 3.7%, and Decentraland (MANA) adding 2.4%. Overall, the market maintained upward momentum overnight, with broad-based gains across major Layer-1 assets and strong performance in select privacy and DeFi tokens.
