Digital asset ETF performance was broadly positive in the latest closing data, even as the subsequent cryptocurrency market update pointed to renewed selling pressure. Bitcoin ETFs IBIT and FBTC gained 0.96% and 0.94%, respectively. IBIT attracted approximately $151.46 million in one-day inflows, while FBTC added $24.54 million.
Ethereum ETF ETHA advanced 1.07%, despite recording $93.28 million in one-day outflows. Canary’s XRP ETF, XRPC, rose 0.84%, while Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) gained 2.00%. The contrast between positive ETF returns and mixed fund flows highlighted continued differences in investor positioning across digital assets.
By 6:00 a.m. ET on October 29, the cryptocurrency trading update showed total market capitalization declining 1.9% to $2.77 trillion. Bitcoin fell 1.6% over 24 hours to $80,085, Ethereum declined 2.2% to $2,318, XRP dropped 3.0% to $1.29, and Solana retreated 2.6% to $100.05. Hyperliquid declined 3.5% to $79.16.

Payments tokens were broadly weaker, while DeFi showed selective resilience, with Huobi Token gaining 1.8% and Braintrust advancing 1.0%.
Overall, the morning update indicated that the cryptocurrency market’s rebound had lost momentum, with renewed weakness across major Layer-1 assets despite the positive returns recorded in the latest ETF closing data.
