Crypto ETFs finished broadly higher on the day, with the average 1-day return across 77 funds at +0.65%. Spot Bitcoin ETFs tracked BTC’s strength, with iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) rising +1.41%, Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) up +1.33%, Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) gaining +1.32%, and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) advancing +1.36%. Bitcoin (BTC) gained 1.7% over the past 24 hours to $67,896, extending its 7-day advance to 1.4% and pushing its market cap to approximately $1.43T. Ethereum (ETH) was essentially flat, down 0.1% to $1,957 and off 0.02% over the past week, continuing its relative underperformance versus BTC. In altcoins, notable gainers included Sui (SUI), up 3.8% to $0.95 (+2.5% 7D), Hyperliquid (HYPE), up 3.8% to $29.50 despite being down 3.5% over the past week, and Monero (XMR), which increased 3.0% to $337.92 and is roughly flat on a 7-day basis (-0.2%). Within DeFi, Aave (AAVE) climbed 2.9% to $125.78, extending its 7-day gain to 11.1%, while Chainlink (LINK) rose 1.1% to $8.69 (+2.7% 7D) and Uniswap (UNI) gained 1.1% to $3.44 (+3.3% 7D). In contrast, Pi (PI) declined 6.5% to $0.17, though it remains up 17.3% over the past week, while Sky (SKY) fell 3.9% (-6.3% 7D) and Toncoin (TON) slipped 2.1% (-3.0% 7D). Overall, strength in BTC and select Layer-1 tokens drove the market higher, while ETH traded sideways and performance across smaller-cap tokens remained mixed.
