Crypto Morning Daily

Crypto ETFs posted mixed daily results, with Ethereum funds leading gains, Bitcoin funds advancing modestly, and XRP and Solana products declining. Despite the price recovery in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, funds with available flow data recorded approximately $60.5 million in combined net outflows, largely concentrated in Ethereum.

Bitcoin ETFs generally gained between 0.55% and 0.69%. BlackRock’s IBIT rose 0.67%, Fidelity’s FBTC gained 0.63%, and Grayscale’s GBTC advanced 0.60%. Leveraged products amplified the move, with BITX rising 1.17% and BITU gaining 1.09%. Flows were mixed: IBIT attracted $22.4 million and VanEck’s HODL received $2.3 million, while BITX lost $11.5 million, BITO shed $9.3 million, and FBTC recorded $3.6 million in withdrawals. Across the listed Bitcoin products, net outflows totaled approximately $0.6 million. Most conventional Bitcoin funds remained down roughly 3.3%–3.4% for the week.

Ethereum ETFs outperformed, with ETHA gaining 1.71%, ETHE rising 1.76%, FETH advancing 1.62%, and ETHW climbing 1.81%. Leveraged Ethereum products gained approximately 3.2%–3.4%. However, ETHA recorded $56.1 million in daily outflows, accounting for all reported net withdrawals in the Ethereum category. The rebound recovered only part of recent losses, with conventional Ethereum funds still down about 6.4%–6.6% over the week.

XRP ETFs weakened, with Canary’s XRPC declining 1.29%, Franklin’s XRPZ falling 1.60%, and Grayscale’s GXRP losing 1.31%. Leveraged XRP funds fell approximately 2.7%–3.1%, while weekly losses approached 18%–19% for those products. The listed XRP funds reported no daily net flows. Solana ETFs slipped more modestly: BSOL fell 0.07%, GSOL declined 0.37%, and FSOL lost 0.23%. BSOL recorded $3.8 million in withdrawals, while other listed Solana funds reported zero daily flows. Overall, the session showed a partial recovery in Bitcoin and Ethereum ETF prices, but continued withdrawals and substantial weekly losses pointed to persistent weakness across the broader crypto ETF market.

Cryptocurrency trading remained broadly weak, with Bitcoin holding steady while most major altcoins extended their losses. Bitcoin edged up 0.1% over 24 hours to $83,498, although it remained down 2.9% over seven days. Ethereum fell 1.8% to $2,511, Solana declined 4.3% to $106.82, and XRP slipped 3.1% to $1.36. BNB lost 1.2%, while Hyperliquid dropped 5.5%. Bitcoin’s relative resilience contrasted with widespread weekly declines across the listed assets. The preceding October 12 update at 18:00 ET reported total market capitalization of $2.90 trillion, up 0.1% over its reporting window despite weakness among major tokens.
