The cryptocurrency ETF market saw modest gains as digital assets stabilized following recent volatility. Total crypto market capitalization rose 0.2% to $2.28 trillion, supported by strength in Ethereum, Solana and several DeFi-related tokens, while Bitcoin traded modestly higher. ETF performance generally reflected the underlying market, with spot Bitcoin and Ethereum funds posting small gains and leveraged products outperforming as expected. Investor attention remains focused on institutional flows, with spot ETF demand continuing to provide an important source of liquidity despite mixed sentiment across smaller digital assets.
Bitcoin ETFs
Bitcoin traded around $64,324 (+0.4%), extending its recent stabilization. Spot Bitcoin ETFs posted gains of roughly 0.5%, led by the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC). IBIT continued to dominate investor flows with approximately $160 million of one-day inflows and more than $900 million over the past month, highlighting continued institutional demand. Leveraged Bitcoin ETFs amplified the move, with products such as Volatility Shares 2x Bitcoin ETF (BITX) and ProShares Ultra Bitcoin ETF (BITU) gaining close to 1% on the day.
Ethereum ETFs
Ethereum outperformed Bitcoin, rising 1.2% to $1,917, which translated into steady gains across spot Ethereum ETFs. The iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA), Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) and Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) each advanced approximately 0.3%, while ETHA attracted nearly $26 million of daily inflows. Leveraged Ethereum products delivered stronger returns, with the 2x Ether ETF (ETHU) and T-Rex 2X Long Ether ETF (ETU) both gaining roughly 0.7%, reflecting Ethereum’s stronger underlying performance.
Solana ETFs
Solana was one of the strongest-performing major cryptocurrencies, climbing 1.8% to $77.18. Spot Solana ETFs broadly gained between 1.7% and 2.0%, including Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL), VanEck Solana ETF (VSOL) and Fidelity Solana Fund (FSOL). Leveraged Solana funds significantly outperformed, with the 2x Solana ETF (SOLT) and ProShares Ultra Solana ETF (SLON) advancing approximately 3.6%–3.7%, demonstrating the enhanced upside participation of leveraged exposure during positive trading sessions.
XRP ETFs
XRP remained relatively unchanged near $1.00, resulting in muted performance among spot XRP ETFs. Products including the Canary XRP ETF (XRPC), Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ) and Grayscale XRP Trust ETF (GXRP) posted only fractional daily gains. Leveraged XRP funds also showed limited movement despite their higher sensitivity, reflecting the lack of significant price action in the underlying cryptocurrency.
Leveraged ETF Performance
Leveraged crypto ETFs continued to magnify moves in the underlying assets. Bitcoin leveraged funds gained roughly 0.9%, Ethereum leveraged funds rose around 0.7%, while Solana’s leveraged products were the strongest performers with gains approaching 4%. XRP leveraged ETFs were largely flat given XRP’s muted price action. These products remain best suited for experienced investors seeking short-term tactical exposure due to their amplified daily returns and higher volatility.
Overall, the crypto ETF ecosystem reflected a constructive trading session led by Ethereum and Solana. Institutional inflows remained strongest in the Bitcoin ETF complex, while leveraged products once again amplified gains for investors seeking higher-risk tactical exposure. Despite continued volatility across smaller digital assets, the major cryptocurrency ETF categories continue to benefit from steady investor participation and improving market sentiment.
