A Strategic Resource for ETF Digital Asset (Crypto-Currency) Investors

Crypto Morning Daily

The cryptocurrency ETF market traded modestly lower to start Tuesday, tracking weakness across major digital assets as total crypto market capitalization slipped 1.5% to $2.25 trillion. Despite the pullback in Bitcoin and Ethereum, ETF performance remained relatively resilient, with investors continuing to favor diversified exposure while fund flows into several spot products remained constructive. Leveraged ETFs experienced larger swings, reflecting their amplified exposure during the market’s decline.

Bitcoin ETFs moved lower as Bitcoin declined 1.2% to $64,197. Spot Bitcoin ETFs generally fell between 1.4% and 1.7%, led by the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) (-1.5%), Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) (-1.6%), Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) (-1.5%), and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB) (-1.5%). Despite the daily decline, institutional demand remained evident, with IBIT attracting approximately $86.7 million of daily inflows and nearly $694 million over the past week. Leveraged Bitcoin ETFs experienced larger declines, with Volatility Shares 2x Bitcoin ETF (BITX) falling 3.1%, ProShares Ultra Bitcoin ETF (BITU) down 3.2%, and T-Rex 2X Long Bitcoin ETF (BTCL) losing 3.2%, reflecting their amplified exposure to Bitcoin’s move.

Ethereum ETFs also traded lower as Ethereum slipped 2.0% to $1,879. Spot Ethereum ETFs generally declined around 2.1% to 2.3%, including iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) (-2.3%), Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) (-2.1%), Bitwise Ethereum ETF (ETHW) (-2.2%), and VanEck Ethereum ETF (ETHV) (-2.2%). Leveraged Ethereum funds posted steeper losses, with the 2x Ether ETF (ETHU) down 4.6%, ProShares Ultra Ether ETF (ETHT) falling 4.5%, and the T-Rex 2X Long Ether ETF (ETU) declining 4.3%, illustrating the increased volatility associated with leveraged products.

Solana ETFs outperformed the broader crypto market despite weakness in the underlying token. While Solana fell 1.2% to $75.72, most Solana ETF products posted gains ranging from 2.8% to 3.2%, with the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) rising 3.0%, Franklin Solana ETF (SOEZ) gaining 3.0%, and Fidelity Solana Fund (FSOL) advancing 3.2%. Leveraged Solana exposure remained the strongest-performing segment, with the 2x Solana ETF (SOLT) climbing 5.6% and the ProShares Ultra Solana ETF (SLON) advancing 6.2%, benefiting from recent momentum.

XRP ETFs held up better than other major crypto ETF categories despite XRP declining 2.5% to $1.02 in Monday’s session. Spot XRP ETFs were little changed, generally falling only 0.2% to 0.4%, while leveraged XRP products posted larger losses of approximately 0.5% to 0.7%, consistent with their higher sensitivity to the underlying asset’s move.

Among individual cryptocurrencies, notable gainers were led by Mantle (+5.5%), Chainlink (+5.3%), World Liberty Financial (+4.4%), and Internet Computer (+4.0%). On the downside, Zcash declined 4.1%, Canton fell 4.1%, Shiba Inu lost 3.5%, Cardano dropped 3.5%, and Celestia slipped 3.1%. Broader Layer-1 performance was mixed, with Bitcoin (-1.2%), Ethereum (-2.0%), and Solana (-1.2%) trading lower, while BNB (+0.4%) and Polkadot (+0.2%) managed modest gains.
