A Strategic Resource for ETF Digital Asset (Crypto-Currency) Investors

Crypto Morning Daily

Based on the Crypto ETF ecosystem data, digital asset ETFs broadly declined alongside the underlying cryptocurrency market, with nearly every major category finishing lower on the day. Spot Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP ETFs all experienced losses as investors continued to reduce exposure amid weakness across digital assets. Leveraged products amplified those declines, reflecting their higher sensitivity to the underlying price movements. Despite the short-term weakness, several spot ETFs continued to attract selective investor inflows, suggesting institutional interest remains present even during periods of market volatility.

Bitcoin ETFs declined approximately 1.0% to 1.1% across the major spot funds. iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) fell 1.0%, Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) lost 1.1%, and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) declined 1.1%. Fund flows remained mixed, with IBIT recording approximately $239.3 million of daily outflows, while Grayscale’s Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC) attracted roughly $23.6 million of inflows. Leveraged Bitcoin products experienced steeper losses, with BITX, BITU, and BTCL each falling approximately 2.1% to 2.4%, illustrating the increased volatility associated with leveraged exposure.

Ethereum ETFs also came under pressure, with spot funds generally declining between 1.5% and 1.7%. iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) fell 1.5%, Grayscale Ethereum Staking ETF (ETHE) declined 1.6%, and Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) dropped 1.6%. Flow activity remained relatively muted, although ETHA experienced approximately $8.1 million in daily outflows. Leveraged Ethereum funds saw significantly larger declines, with ETHU losing 3.6% and ETHT falling 3.7%, roughly double the losses of their spot counterparts.

Solana ETFs were comparatively resilient despite the broader market weakness. Most spot Solana products finished little changed, with returns ranging from modest gains to losses of less than 0.2%. Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (BSOL) rose 0.1%, while Franklin Solana ETF (SOEZ) gained 0.3%. Fund flows remained positive for several products, including BSOL, which attracted nearly $3.0 million over the past week. Leveraged Solana ETFs were weaker, with the 2x Solana ETF (SOLT) declining 0.1% and ProShares Ultra Solana ETF (SLON) falling 0.7%.

XRP ETFs experienced some of the largest declines among the major digital asset categories. Spot XRP funds generally fell between 2.0% and 2.6%, led by the Canary XRP ETF (XRPC), which dropped 2.2%, while Franklin XRP ETF (XRPZ) lost 2.1%. Leveraged XRP products significantly underperformed, with Teucrium 2x Long Daily XRP ETF (XXRP) falling 5.6%, Volatility Shares XRP 2X ETF (XRPT) down 4.7%, and ProShares Ultra XRP ETF (UXRP) declining 4.6%, highlighting the amplified downside during market pullbacks.

Overall, the Crypto ETF ecosystem reflected broad-based risk-off sentiment, with spot products closely tracking declines in their underlying cryptocurrencies while leveraged ETFs magnified those moves. Although short-term performance remained under pressure, selective inflows into several spot Bitcoin and Solana products suggest long-term institutional demand continues to provide underlying support for the asset class.
