A Strategic Resource for ETF Digital Asset (Crypto-Currency) Investors

Crypto Morning Daily

Crypto ETF performance was broadly negative on June 10, reflecting continued weakness across digital asset markets. Among Bitcoin ETFs, spot products were relatively uniform, with major funds such as IBIT (-2.1%), FBTC (-2.1%), GBTC (-2.1%), BITB (-2.1%), and ARKB (-2.1%) all declining in line with Bitcoin’s move lower. Leveraged Bitcoin products experienced amplified losses, including BITX (-4.1%), BITU (-4.4%), and BTCL (-4.6%). In the Ethereum ETF category, spot funds such as ETHA (-1.9%), FETH (-1.7%), and ETHV (-1.8%) posted modest declines, while leveraged products ETHU (-3.1%), ETHT (-3.5%), and ETU (-3.7%) underperformed as expected.

XRP ETFs were among the weaker segments of the market, with spot-oriented funds including XRPC (-3.4%), XRPZ (-3.3%), and GXRP (-3.2%) all posting losses. Leveraged XRP products saw substantially larger declines, including XXRP (-6.6%), XRPT (-6.9%), and UXRP (-6.8%). Similarly, Solana ETFs were pressured, with spot and staking-focused products such as BSOL (-3.2%), GSOL (-3.2%), VSOL (-2.7%), and FSOL (-3.4%) declining, while leveraged funds SOLT (-6.2%) and SLON (-6.3%) roughly doubled the losses of their unlevered counterparts. Overall, ETF performance closely tracked the underlying cryptocurrencies, with leveraged products magnifying the downside as risk sentiment remained weak across the digital asset market.

Bitcoin futures are down 1.3%. Cryptocurrencies continued to face broad selling pressure overnight, with total market capitalization declining 2.2% to $2.19 trillion as of 06:00 ET on June 10, following a 2.8% drop the previous day. Bitcoin fell 2.2% to $61,269 and is now down 8.1% over the past week, while Ethereum declined 2.8% to $1,620, extending its seven-day loss to 13.4%. Weakness was widespread across major Layer-1 networks, with Solana, Cardano, Avalanche, and NEAR Protocol all posting notable weekly declines. Risk appetite remained particularly weak in higher-beta assets, as Hyperliquid (HYPE) dropped 10.0% over the past 24 hours and 22.9% over the week, while Zcash (ZEC), Stellar (XLM), and Ondo (ONDO) also recorded significant losses. Despite the broader downturn, a handful of tokens outperformed, led by Audiera (BEAT), which surged 25.7% on the day and more than 335% over the past week, while World Liberty Financial (WLFI) gained 5.7%. Sector performance was similarly mixed, with DeFi and Metaverse tokens generally trending lower, though Chiliz (CHZ) stood out with a 4.1% gain. Overall, market sentiment remains cautious as investors continue to reduce exposure to riskier crypto assets amid persistent weakness across the digital asset market.
