A Strategic Resource for ETF Digital Asset (Crypto-Currency) Investors

Crypto Morning Daily

As of March 17, 2026, crypto ETF performance reflected continued strength in underlying digital assets, with generally positive daily returns but mixed fund flows across categories. Bitcoin ETFs tracked BTC’s move higher, with most funds posting modest daily gains (generally in the ~1–3% range) and weekly returns in the mid-single digits, while flows remained mixed: the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) has seen approximately +$874.1M in year-to-date inflows, while the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) has experienced about -$1.19B YTD outflows and Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) about -$749.4M YTD, highlighting continued rotation within Bitcoin products.

In Ethereum ETFs, performance was notably stronger, with daily returns around +10.8% to +11.0% and weekly gains in the low-to-mid teens, reflecting ETH’s recent rally. Flow activity was mixed, with the Fidelity Ethereum Fund (FETH) seeing roughly +$90.2M in weekly inflows, while iShares Ethereum Trust (ETHA) recorded about -$607.8M in YTD outflows and Grayscale Ethereum products also saw continued redemptions.

Solana ETFs also showed solid momentum, with daily returns ranging from +7.1% to +14.1% and weekly gains in the high single digits, supported by positive flows in select products such as the Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (+$14.7M weekly; +$159.4M YTD), although some leveraged and staking products saw modest outflows.

In XRP ETFs, performance was positive but more moderate relative to ETH and SOL, with weekly flows remaining mixed: funds such as the Franklin XRP ETF recorded approximately +$82.9M in YTD inflows, while others like 21Shares XRP ETF saw -$47.2M YTD outflows, indicating uneven investor demand across issuers.

Across multi-asset and broader crypto ETFs, trends generally mirrored the underlying market, with positive short-term returns driven by gains in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP, but continued divergence in capital flows, as investors reallocate between newer low-cost products and legacy funds. Overall, the data indicates strong price performance across major crypto exposures, paired with ongoing structural shifts in ETF flows rather than uniform net inflows.
